Julissa McIver

Julissa McIver is from Lima, Perú and she graduated from University San Martin de Porres Dental School in 1998. She came to the U.S. in 2000 and worked as an assistant and dental administrator until 2017. She completed a medical assistant program in Virginia in 2003 and worked at Forsyth Tech Dental Department in North Carolina from 2013 to 2017. Julissa currently works as a medical interpreter in Ventura County and has volunteered at the Westminster Free Clinic in Thousand Oaks teaching dental classes since 2019. Julissa finds joy in helping others in the community.
