Our Fight Against Parkinson’s
This workshop’s main objective is to be an introduction to discovery and understanding about Parkinson’s with the testimony of a patient with Parkinson’s (Nicaragua), a caregiver (Mexico), a promotor (USA) and a program (USA) that together have been able to transcend distance barriers and form the Parkinson’s Promotores Ambassador Initiative at the international level.
Objectives
- Understand what Parkinson’s is and the 10 most important symptoms.
- Identify the needs in a progressive neurodegenerative disease.
- Discover a practical way to create alliances (national and international) that magnify strengths and transform communities.
